1)
What was the biggest surprise for you in the reading? In other words, what did
you read that stood out the most as different from your expectations?
I was
surprised that entrepreneurship gave you such an advantageous mindset in the
pursuit for success. Entrepreneurs have the mindset that they need to do more
to grow and perpetuate and idea, rather than just create one. It is important
to keep in mind the daily duties of a business, as well as the long term goals
that you are striving to reach.
2)
Identify at least one part of the reading that was confusing to you.
None
of it was extremely confusing to me. I think the author does an excellent job
at explaining the concepts as well as attributing real world scenarios to them.
3) If
you were able to ask two questions to the author, what would you ask? Why?
1. What
is the most important notion to remember when developing an idea as an
entrepreneur?
2. Do
you think entrepreneurs are created or born? There are a lot of opinions
regarding this question and I would be very curious as to how Kuratko would
respond.
4)
Was there anything you think the author was wrong about? Where do you disagree
with what she or he said? How?
No, I
thought the author was extremely accurate and knowledgeable in all of the
information he delivered. He has shown countless times that he has a firm grasp
of the entrepreneurship spirit.
