I
thought this weeks readings were very informative and provided an in depth look
at the concepts and processes needed to successfully create a market venture.
The SWOT analysis was something that I was vaguely familiar with but the author
explained it in more detail that I was able to comprehend it and understand how
it would be useful to an entrepreneur. The strategy matrix was also something
that the author described that I think is extremely beneficial for entrepreneurs.
There was nothing that I read that I thought was confusing and believe the
author did an exceptional job in dissecting the topics of this week’s readings.
I disagreed slightly with the author when they stated that they believe the
management duties of the company should switch once it is off the ground. Entrepreneurs
like Steve Jobs have visions of what they want their business to grow to and
these visions are not reachable without the entrepreneur themselves in a
decision making position.
