My Entrepreneurship Story

I have always been interested in entrepreneurship and the endeavors of you entrepreneurs. I admire the ambition an individual harnesses to undertake a mission to create and innovate a product or service that has the power to change the world. I was exposed to entrepreneurship in middle school when I competed in the Sally Ride Science Toy Challenge. My group undertook the creation and development of a floating pool board game that was both fun and educational for children. Our hard work and determination granted us the opportunity to compete at the championships in Washington DC. To fund our trip to the nations capital, our entrepreneurial minds sold scented pencils to all the kids at our school. We were savvy entrepreneurs at the young age of eleven and our futures looked bright from there.

I enrolled in ENT 3003 because I aspire to follow in the footsteps of some of the most successful entrepreneurs before me. I would like to acquire the necessary skill set to grow and create something that I am passionate about. I hope to apply everything I learn throughout this course in my professional career to become a successful businessman.

  1. The floating pool board game was a very creative idea, as well as selling the scented pencils. Childhood creativity is an extraordinary force! I hope your team performed well in the competition.

I am also in this course to hone my entrepreneurial skills and become a successful businessman. I think we will learn a great deal in this course.

  2. I am surprised that at the age of eleven, you came up with your own invention that was actually interesting and real. Congratulations! When I was eleven, I made up a machine that is virtually impossible to create even with the technology we have discovered.

This is the link for my entrepreneurship story. We don't have a lot of similarities between our stories, but I'm sure you will find it as interesting as I found yours. I too look forward to learn the skills of the most successful entrepreneurs of our time. I can't wait to read more of your ideas!
