Week 7 Reading Reflection

1.         The biggest surprise to me were the different techniques in advertising that cater to different emotions and certain demographics. Instead of demonstrating how a product works, the advertisers chose to emphasize how the product made users feel.
2.         None of the readings from this week caused too much confusion for myself. I thought the topics covered were all very interesting and discussed very thoroughly.
3.         I would ask the author which segmentation they believe is most effective, and which demographic they believe controls the market today.

4.         I do not directly disagree with anything the author stated, but I do believe most purchases are based on values.
